In Donetsk many kids and their parents were edgily waiting for the children’s holiday matinee to be held at the Donbass Arena this coming Wednesday, on 13 January, which is the old-style New Year's Eve. The Family Club members made preparations, wrote the script, framed the concept, selected the costumes and the menu… Alas, they will have to wait a bit longer for the mass celebration owing to the adverse epidemiological situation and the weather conditions in the region.

Unfortunately, the management of the Donbass Arena had no other choice because we could not compromise the children’s health. By the way, this scenario was foreseen by the parents who rang up the stadium’s Call Centre to make it clear whether the celebration party might be postponed due to the imposed quarantine period at schools a week prior to the scheduled celebration. Therefore we are pretty sure that the final decision was the only adequate solution in the circumstances concerned: the children's matinee must take place! Since both the arena and the parents have put so much effort into the event. It will be held during the Pancake Week, on Saturday, 13 February.
 

Let us comfort the parents who have already purchased the tickets for their children and themselves alike – the tickets will remain valid.
