As part of the working trip to Donetsk the delegation from L’viv Region Council visited the Donbass Arena on 25 December. The visitors enjoyed the stadium tour very much. Even though the deputies from L’viv were not very emotional due to their statesmanship, we could see genuine admiration in their eyes. 

Miroslav Senyk, the Chairman of L’viv Region’s Council, expressed his opinion as follows:

“The arena’s architecture is just amazing. While making preparations for the visit, we asked our colleagues from Donetsk to necessarily arrange the visit to the Donbass Arena. Is it possible to not pay a visit to the Donbass Arena when in Donetsk?! It is like not going to see the Pope while in Rome. I left a lettering in Croatian “Hvala lijepo!” meaning “Gorgeous, thank you very much!” in the dressing room of FC Shakhtar. The words are not accidental. That is how I expressed my impression about the Donbass Arena and gratitude to Darijo Srna and FC Shakhtar for their excellent performance”.
